I've been back in the western world for close to 3 months, that makes 25% of the year. Can you believe how quickly time flies? At night I can close my eyes and envision the tiny details of a back alley in Taipei close to one of the MRT stops. It is so close and so clear I wonder that as I age this vision will dim when today it seems like I could step through a memory into the hot humid air of Taiwan.
