Interesting how the universe works
I had just made the decision to finally head out on a bus to Hualien when the phone rang. It was somebody looking for a teacher and needed to interview RIGHT now. *grins* So, I stayed in Taipei. Just finished the interview and the job is quite attractive. Teaching DRAMA and English at a middle schoool, not just a bushiban. Monday through Friday 9-5. Nice salary too. Tomorrow I'm to teach a demo for them if it can be arranged. If not we're trying for Thursday.
Later last night after that call I was sitting in the train station, having just purchased my newest batch of postcards and another Taiwanese gentleman approached me regarding English Teaching. Maybe I just needed to committ to going to Hualien and not actually get on the bus?!
